410TVX™
"I bought the (412TVX) bass cab due in a large part to
my experience years ago with the sound I got from 12-inch speakers—before
they became all but impossible to get for bass. I wanted the
deep round tones of a 15-inch, but the punch and clarity of a
smaller speaker. This cabinet does anything but disappoint! The
tones I remember are all there. The volume out of one cabinet
is very impressive. I have a couple of 115 cabinets that go very
muddy long before this one when I turn them up. I can hardly
wait to get my hands on another. I am driving my cabinets with
a tube-type pre-amp, and a 2000 Watt power amp. Outstanding and
outrageous are the two words that best describe what comes out
of this setup. Peavey has once again exceeded my expectations.
Thank you for a great product."

BAM™ 210
"I bought the BAM 210 because I wanted a decent combo bass
amp with effects all in one package. The band I'm in plays pretty
loud and hard but with the BAM 210 I couldn't believe how much
that amp rocked! It's a little powerhouse alone ... I have not
had the chance to hook up another cab to it yet. I am sure I
would be quite surprised with more impressive sound! My friends
and I have used Peavey over the years for its reliability and
great sound ... it has NEVER let us down! Thank you Peavey!!!"
— 240gordy
"Hi, I'm a long term user (2 1/2 years) of the BAM, playing
classic rock, hard rock & blues in a high power trio. The
BAM is the central unit in a hybrid rig of Peavey gear, including
a CS 500, X2 Crossover & a KADT 1504 BW Speaker in a custom
cabinet, making a rocking 850 watts to saturate any room with
the greatest bass tone in our area! The BAM's flexibility is
incredible, creating classic rock tones & even simulating
multi-imbral piano type chords when required. It's the best rig
I've ever had the pleasure of playing & hope it lasts for
many years to come!"

Bandit™ 112 Combo
"I manage a busy college music centre (Bournemouth & Poole College, UK) and it has suddenly dawned on me that we have had our five Peavey Bandits for 13 years with very little going wrong! (I think we replaced a couple of speakers and that's it!). They are used all day long and then four nights a week we let our rooms to the general public so that is a lot of use!"
— David Thomas, Music Centre Manager
"I bought my Bandit about 6 months ago. I'd like to
thank the Peavey team for making such gear and for the price,
which enabled me to buy the best combo on the market. I'm sure
I'll be using my Bandit until I have enough money to buy the
best head and cabinet on the market (probably both from 6505
series). Thumbs up, you guys!"

"Had to write and tell Peavey how well built your equipment
is. My name is Neil Gordon. Last Friday I left the club I was
playing at 2 A.M. and I neglected to properly latch the tailgate
on my Dodge Dakota 4x4. As I was driving, the Peavey Bandit I
borrowed from my 16 year old son fell out—speakers up!
An oncoming Mitsubishi Eclipse with two intoxicated young ladies
neglected to see my bass player who was wildly waving his arms
trying to warn them of the Bandit in the road. They hit the amp
at approximately 45 mph—destroying the front spoiler of
their car and sending the Bandit more than 100 yards down the
road. Yes, I said 100 yards not feet. It skidded on the plastic
corners. The girls left without making a big deal due to their
condition. Well, I thought for sure I was out $400 as I would
have to buy my son a new amp (yes, it would be a Peavey) but
the darn thing still works. No noise, no crackles, and except
for a few scratches and dents it's not too bad. I play keyboards,
bass and guitar and have been using Peavey equipment since the
early '80s. In fact I still have my Peavey Deuce that I believe
I purchased in 1982. Anyway, I just wanted you to hear this story
and that I will continue to use your equipment in the future."

Briarwood™ Series
"I bought a Peavey Briarwood DR-5CA EQ QT guitar a couple of months ago. I knew it would be a decent guitar because it's a Peavey, but this guitar sounds as good as guitars twice it's price. I haven't been able to put this guitar down."

Cirrus™ BXP
"I recently received my Cirrus BXP 5 string bass with the
Tiger Eye finish and am quite impressed with it. Workmanship
is great, tone is great, and the look is great. This bass is
not only a great instrument but also a great value. For under
$600 you get neck through construction, 18 volt active pickups,
a 35" scale, and a full rich tone. I had only found one
other bass in this price range with the same features. I opted
for the Cirrus BXP because of styling and having read numerous
good reviews on the Cirrus basses."

Classic® 30
"I recently purchased the Classic 30, and this little amp is a giant killer! It has fine, rich tone and quick response. It can kick butt for R&B and the Blues. The Classic 30 will shimmer and works hard. It does very well with all of my guitars. It is not picky, it just plain works well. I name my amps, so this one is Tweedy. We have become great friends, and no one is going to get this amp away from me. No way, it is a keeper. Love it! Get one if at all possible, you won't be sorry!"
— Dan C.
"What can I say, I have waited nearly 5 years to get my
hands on a Peavey Classic 30, from the first time I played one.
Finally, I was able to pick one up. The second I brought it into
church, all the problems we'd had with using an amp through the
system went away. The tone (clean and dirty) has warranted many
compliments, and I feel like I'm in hog heaven. The most amazing
part, I keep the volume on both channels at around 1.5! I know
this thing could easily handle a club and beyond!
The tone is heaven, it feels as familiar as an old friend. Clean,
Country, Blues, Rock—bring it on! I haven't been satisfied
with another clean channel since I played this thing years ago.
I got rid of my Marshall Valve State because I like the distortion
on this quite a bit more. Worried about the single EQ? Don't
be. The tone changes with everything you do! Without switching,
I played finger-picked slow, deep Blues, and vintage/modern Rock!
Thank you for helping me realize my tone!"
—Jeremy Laura
"When I first was starting out on guitar my parents bought
me a little Peavey practice amp. The first amp I purchased (a
couple of years later) was a larger combo amp (I forget the model
number). Then, as I started getting better, getting bigger gigs
and playing in working bands, I went the route that all young
musicians go ... the stack! I tried everything from Marshall,
Crate, Mesa Boogie ... and the list goes on. But I was never
satisfied. Then, towards the end of 2004, I was in the studio
recording with my new project, Sensory Lullaby. When it came
time to do guitars we tried a number of different amps. I like
mixing up in the studio so that the guitar doesn't get stale.
Well a friend of mine brought in the Classic 30 for me to try
out. I loved it! and it is featured prominently on our debut
CD. When it came time to pick an amp to take with me out for
our live shows ... well I marched to the nearest dealer and bought
myself the Classic 30! Hell, I bought a watch, a T-shirt, and
put the stickers all over my gear to advertise the Classic 30.
It is a little guy, but though he be but little, he is fierce!!!"
—Javier Chapa
"The [Classic] 30 is the best bet out of all of those...both
the Fender and Laney are okay, but the [Classic] 30 can definitely
smoke them at all levels, not to mention you can hook up the
[Peavey] to an extension cab and then....well hold on to your
pants!!!!! good amp, good price, you really can't go wrong
with it."
— Bill in Seattle
"If you're only going to be playing at home or small gigs, get
the Classic 30. It's a killer-sounding amp. Even if you play
at some larger gigs, you can mic the amp. The tone is awesome."
— BergerMeister
"I sold all my Fenders and my Polytone two years ago thinking
that I'd buy a boutique amp. I kept my Classic 30 to use in the
meantime because it was the most versatile thing I had. Today
I finally stopped shopping for anything that sounds better at
an honest price and ordered a second classic 30 in case I need
more than 30 watts. I guess I could wreck a $3000 amp instead,
but I don't think I'd sound any better."
—Mark Wilson
"Just thought I'd add my 2 cents worth about the Classic
30. I bought mine new in 1995. Since then I have done countless
indoor gigs, outdoor gigs (amp mic'd, of course) and many studio
recordings. It would have to be the most reliable amp I have
ever owned in my 30 years of playing. I play loud rock music
and the tone I get out of the Classic 30 is simply just great!
(I haven't bothered using my Marshall 100w through quad box for
about the last 5 years!) Many times I have had guys come up to
me at gigs just to say how good the guitar sounded! Great amp!"

Classic® 50/410
"I'm a college student and was looking for a great amp that wouldn't kill my already empty wallet. The Peavey Classic 50/410 is the most beautiful amp I have ever heard or seen! This baby can handle anything. It sounds great at lower volumes (can't bother the roomies), but when you open her up there is not a more beautiful, classic, bluesy tone! This amp can make your ears hurt and your knees weak! If you are looking for THE all-tube amp to judge all others by, the Peavey Classic 50/410 has your name all over it!!"
— Michael C.
"I was EXTREMELY happy with the [410's] tone [when test-driving
it]. The lead channel had such a nice, smooth, sustaining tone,
that I was really floored. I've been looking for this tone for
a long time. 70's classic rock to the bone. The clean was equally
impressive."
— Rockfish
"...let me just say that playing the 410 at any volume is incredible.
It's like being put right into one of your favorite albums,
it's like a wall of sound."
— Jkingery
"I have been playing for almost 47 years. My second amp, bought
in 1965, was a Fender Deluxe-Reverb(original, not the re-issue).
I soon replaced the 12" Jensen Special design with a D-120 JBL.
That was my amp—I it used to judge all others. I'd owned
several amps including many Peavey's but held on to that little
amp, and re-tubed it so many times. In the early 80's I started
using Peavey guitars and amps—even visited the factory
many times. In 1991, I was earnestly waiting for the first Classic
50/410 to hit South Florida. I bought it on the spot. I took
it home and, believe it or not, sold the DR. I haven't regretted
that decision at all. I have seven Peavey amps and almost twenty
Peavey guitars—as 'I only play Peavey or I don't play'
is absolutely true. My now 14-year old Classic 50 is still my
first choice. It has not once been in a repair shop, nor has
it ever failed me. It is the amp I now judge all others with."
— Charlie
"Back in '69 in Thibodeaux, LA before going into the service,
I was much impressed with Peavey bass baffles. I purchased, many
years later while living in NYC, the Classic 50/410 and, other
than losing the name plate and a chicken head knob now and then,
I have never had a problem with the amp. I continue to be impressed
with the tonal quality no matter what the volume. My experience
these last 40 years of playing is that Peavey is roadworthy and
the best you can get dollar for the dollar."
— Uglybro50
"I read an interview with Dan Huff in the early 90's and he
talked about being in a studio and playing through a Classic
50, then saying "you'll have to buy another one because
I'm taking this one." I also see that Brent Mason has one
in his amp rack. That's good enough for me. I bought the head
version in '94, no effects loop, and I run it through one or
two Celestion 30's—depending on the gig. I love the
clarity of the Clean channel. It is very pedal friendly, and
outside of the fan bearings going out, I've had no problems.
Myles at Groove Tubes set me up with a great set of tubes when
it was time for that, and it even sounds better! Play around
with different pre amp tubes and see what different sounds are
available in this thing. Very dependable."

Classic® 50/212
"I bought the Classic 50/212 new in '93, and since then it's been my main live amp. I play in a blues/rock band and after over 200 gigs and countless rehearsals of hard work the Peavey sounds as good as the first day, and hasn't ceased to surprise me with new sonic discoveries. This amp is well designed and constructed. It has one of the better, and more usable, clean channels of its class. Pure simplicity that works. Classic tone that cuts through onstage, ideal for small/medium size clubs where you need the sonic dispersion of an open back cabinet. Here in Europe the "Made in USA" material is traditionally expensive, but Peavey has always been a wonderful exception. I bought the Classic because it was the most affordable all-tube 50W combo amp. But after 13 years of playing and comparing it with lots of other amps, I really believe it has a very, very expensive sound."
— Jordi
"I recently purchased a Classic 50/212 and I am the most pleased I have been with a guitar amp in years. It is quite surprising for 50 watts. It is very clean, powerful and the distortion is first rate. It's also simple to use and adjust on the fly. I find that I can get any tone I am looking for—from Country to Blues and Rock, it's simply the best tone I've had in years. Warm and punchy, it makes my "tele" sound like a baby grand.
If you want a tube amp at a great price, check out a Classic 50/212, you won't believe it. Thanks for giving me what I've been searching for. I've used Peavey products for 25 years and will continue to use your products."
— Darryl Wilson
"The Classic 50 is surely the best tone/dollar value on the
tube amp market today."
— LittleCatG
"I recently purchased a Classic 50/212, and I know a professional that gigs 5
days a week with the 50/410 with nary a problem. Both amps sound WAY richer and
smoother than any equivalent [Fender] models and you'll really hear the difference
between them and any solid state unit. There's just no comparison."

CS® Series
"The CS 800X amp is a great amp. When I got the amp I hooked
it up and it worked great. I was amazed at the sound that it
put out. I have been using it for about a year now and I have
had one incident were I dropped the rack it was in. To my amazement
it didn't harm it. The CS series amps are extremely strong and
can handle just about anything. I really like the DDT® features
on most Peavey amps that tells you that you're peaking out the
speakers before they get too much power and blow. I also like
the dual-speed fan and automatic cut-off when the amp gets too
hot. Overall, these are great amps and with a good EQ setting
and the right speakers this amp is as clear as a bell—no
hiss or anything."
— Roger Harrison
"The results are in, and the mighty CS line has a new champion, after 9 hours of very serious Techno music the 4080HZ was just happily cranking out some amazing bass. The blue signal indicator lights look cool and the amp was never really tested. Its got some serious horsepower and, when paired up with the QW 218, is a great addition to any system. Nice job, Peavey, thanks for the new toys. I would highly recommend this amp for any sub-system."
"I've owned the CS 3000H since it was first introduced
and this amp is a mule. It drives 2 ohm loads like they're not
there. It's got headroom and power to spare. It runs cool and
that's a huge leap for an amp putting out this much power. I
drive two double 15" sub cabs off each side of the amp and
it wants more. The built-in crossover works great, the I/O features
are just right. Best of all, it's very reasonably priced for
this many features packed into two rack spaces. This is a GREAT
amp!!!!!!"

"Back in 1976 I purchased my first bass amp. A Peavey Series
400 with white vinyl covering. I played in groups for years with
it and was never let down by any problems. After 29 years I finally
bought a new rig because the circuit boards were starting to
corrode due to its age, resulting in unwanted static. The local
Peavey dealer said there was nothing they could do, so I retired
it. The rig I replaced it with was another Peavey amp, the DeltaBass
head and BVX bottom with a Black Widow speaker. I intend to use
it until I die. I'm sure it will outlast me."

"I really love this PA. I'm a solo artist and use it for
vocals and CD backtracks. You switch it on and it sounds great.
Tweak it a little and it sounds even better! You can rig and

I saved up for months and did handyman jobs until then. Now I

with the standard electric guitar sound is so rich, big and full!"

Grind™ Bass BXP NTB
"Well I just wanted to say ... you guys have done it again. I have been using Peavey gear since the 70's (dating myself here) and I have never been disappointed ... Ever! But this one deserved a special note of recognition. I recently purchased a Grind NTB 5-string for the studio. I am a guitar/bass player, not a guitar player that thinks a Bass is a guitar with fewer strings. I take the bass very seriously as it is a most subtle and often times misunderstood instrument. I have owned $3000 custom jobs that were astounding creations, and this Grind gives them a run for their hard spent money. No joke, this instrument is a spectacular value. I can't get over the fit, finish, tone, the balance ... Wow! Close your eyes, listen to it and your ears will be in a silver cloud. This thing sounds and feels so good that I may just go and get the 6 and 4-strings to round out the collection. These are studio pieces and get used on a very wide spectrum of styles so I need them to be able to cover a lot of ground.
I am selling my other passive basses and replacing them with Grinds. No Joke! I am blown away by this instrument. Kudos to your manufacturing quality control and design. I can't get over this thing! I'm thumping it right now and when I tell you there is no other like it at 2-3 times the cost, believe me. Get one before they change the line or run out of wood"
— Josh Christian
"I recently received your Grind NTB bass as a birthday
gift from my girlfriend, and I would like to commend you guys
on one kick a-- bass at a ridiculous price. I have played a lot
of basses in 30-plus years, through all kinds of amps, and this
Grind is by far the best instrument in my current arsenal of
seven basses. Without getting into brand names, let me just say
that three are very "high end" and the others are somewhat "pricey".
My Grind is very much comparable to the pricey ones, and can
hold its own against the high-enders as far as looks and playability.
For a passive bass—which I prefer—the Grind has killer
sustain and tone. It can growl at you one minute and be as smooth
as hot butter the next. Incredible. When I first got it, and
took it to my band's rehearsal, our two guitarists jaws literally
hit the floor and they both turned the coolest shade of green—as
in envy! They couldn't stop touching it, and oohing and awwing
over it. It was great, as they both have some really expensive
axes themselves. When I plugged in and we hit, the entire band
was impressed with the sound of my notes and the blend. You guys
have always been my choice for cabs—I have two TXF 410s
I've had for four years, and they still shake the walls anyplace
we gig. My Grind sounds fantastic through both of my amps and
I give
you a 10 for your electronics—they can be tweaked so
easily for that perfect sound I have to have. You've outdone
yourselves with this one, and I will recommend it to any
true player—veteran or novice—who is looking
for a really great and affordable 5-string. Keep up the great
work down there. I look forward to your coming innovations
and products!"

HP™ Signature Series
"After losing everything We own in Chalmette to Hurricane Katrina, I was given a set of drums to use until I could afford a new drum kit. A good friend told me to keep them until I did not need them anymore. My band started playing again in the New Orleans Metro area in late October '05. Now, what I am leading up to, is how I repaid my friend for his kindness and generosity. Upon getting help from many people and companies, I was able to recover from my loss quickly. I went online and shopped for weeks. I came across your HP Signature EX electric guitar and was very impressed. I ordered two, I gave my friend the Sunburst model and I kept the Gold top. My friend has been a Fender Strat man for the last twenty years, that is until I gave him the HP Sig. He has not played anything else for the last two weeks. That's six live gigs and two recording sessions! He has raved to everyone how incredible this guitar is, and trust me he knows guitars. Thanks for offering a KILLER guitar at an unbelievable price. You've given me the chance to thank a very good friend in a way I could not otherwise do."
—Joseph Marceaux
"I bought your HP Series EX model in a gold top and was I surprised at the quality for a guitar made in China! The EX could have easily been mistaken for a Korean made model. The frets were near perfect, along with the finish and detail. Plus, the tuners are some of the smoothest I have ever used. Mr. Peavey has done a perfect job in making a guitar that not only plays, sounds and feels great, but is also affordable and remains good quality product. Of course, I would expect nothing less from Peavey!"

Max® 700
"It is without a doubt the finest bass head, period, and
worth every penny I paid for it. It is incredibly loud with a
clarity and quality that you would expect to pay much more for.
The extremely well thought out and versatile controls allow me
to quickly and easily adjust my rig for all of the different
sounds I require to gig or to practice. Before I acquired my
MAX 700, I shopped around and compared many other bass heads
from other name-brand manufactures. Some were quite expensive
and some were in the same price and feature range. None sounded
as great as the Max 700. It's crystal clear and rock solid at
full volume with two cabs running at 2 ohms. Many other manufactures
state that their heads will operate at 2 ohms but when you attempt
to use them, they fall short, the sound distorts, the tone falls
off, the amp is working too hard and it shows. Not the Max. Peavey's
Max will honestly allow you to use the amps full potential when
needed and does it flawlessly while sounding incredible. I am
extremely satisfied and would recommend this amp to both professional
and hobbyist musicians. Peavey raised the bar for quality, sound,
brute power and versatility. There's no other amp available that
can even come close to delivering what this amp gives. Thank
you Peavey for creating a new benchmark for bass heads."

clean, no-clipping, loud, powerful, not-that-heavy, non-tube,
easy-to-grip, amp in the world. Long live the power of Peavey!"

Messenger® Portable PA System
"I am a performing classical guitarist who recently was in the market for amplification. Initially I considered purchasing an acoustic guitar amplifier, the Peavey Ecoustic, as well as amps from other manufacturers. Then an interesting product arrived at my local dealer, the Messenger portable PA system. What a breath of fresh air! Here's a system, marketed as being portable, that truly IS portable.
This PA perfectly fits my needs as a solo artist, providing accurate sound reinforcement for my concert classical guitar. It has plenty of power. It uses two speakers, allowing me to get better sound coverage in a room. The use of microphone stands to support the speakers is a novel idea, conveniently getting the speakers at ear level. I have had to purchase a condenser microphone separately to better capture the nuances of a nylon string, but that was possible due to your generosity of incorporating phantom power in this system. FLS® feedback system is helpful in eliminating problem frequencies during set-up, and "mid-morph" really DOES add warmth to the sound. Best of all, this system folds up into a briefcase! I wonder if I look like James Bond showing up to a job dressed in a suit and unfolding a PA out of a suitcase. Even non-musicians have commented on the unique way this system works. I have been telling other musicians, especially classical guitarists, about the Messenger. It truly is a one-of-a-kind. But then again, you folks strive for and achieve the cutting edge.
I can't thank you enough for making my amplification so convenient. This is especially true when I'm packing it up at the end of the night!
Kudos Peavey on a job well done!!"

Mystic
"I'm writing in regards to another anniversary that may
pertain to your 40th anniversary. Mine is a 20th anniversary
of a Peavey Mystic guitar that I won as a door prize back in
May of 1985. The local music store (Klemper Music) was holding
a guitar clinic and I held the lucky ticket. I still use this
guitar every other weekend when I play out. It was a great guitar
back in '85 and it is still a great guitar today. Finally, I
would like to say that the guitar is entirely original with the
only exception being the volume pot and, of course, the strings.
Keep up the great work and see you in another 40 years."

Nashville™ 112
"First off, I really like the familiar user-friendly controls.
They made it easy for me to dial in my tone quickly. The overall
range is great, even with the 12-inch speaker. I found it loud
enough and very responsive. The amp displayed great highs (crisp)
and solid mid's. But, what I really liked was the definition,
which was so good you could literally hear each and every note
in every chord. Most of my chord work is on the bottom strings.
Surprisingly, the amp held together very well on the bottom end
and on the bottom notes. The reverb is really smooth and doesn't
have that springy sound which some reverbs have. And, of course
the lower weight is really great."
— Bud Carter
"This amp successfully addressed the flexible needs of
the steel guitar player with a first class platform. Don’t
let the size of this product fool you. You can feel comfortable
taking this amp into any playing situation. I've now used the
amp for recordings, clubs, and concerts, and it performs well
in every application with the headroom required and the quality
of sound I require. I use the Pre and Post volume settings above
because I play off of the backside of the volume pedal. I choose
to play Peavey because of their customer support and consistent
product. I've never had a Peavey amp fail me in the field!"
— Jerry Brightman
"The new Peavey 112 is one surprising little amp! Physically,
it may be small, but it produces an amazingly big sound and it's
so user friendly. Within seconds of first plugging into it, I
was able to achieve a warm pleasant tone. And with just a little
minor tweaking, I was able to quickly attain the rich, tight
low end, the sweet mid range and silky highs that I desire. It
is indeed everything I look for in an Amplifier, all in a tidy
package! Thanks to Mike Brown for all his help, and “BRAVO” Peavey
for manufacturing a great little amp!!!"
— Buck Reid
"I first bought the Nashville 112 to have as a practice
and rehearsal amp. Something smaller and lighter. The more I
played it, the more I became accustomed to its tone. I also realized
something else; this amp packed a big punch when it came to power.
I've since played this amp at several shows where there was not
a microphone on it, and it handled everything I put through it.
You'll be amazed at the BIG sound this little package has. If
you think you need more power, get two!"

PR® Series Enclosures
"I recently purchased a PR 12P powered speaker enclosure to use as a monitor. As a drummer, one of my gigs requires me to pump a fair amount of keyboard bass and vocals through the speaker and the PR 12P was an excellent choice for my needs. The sound is clean, punchy and more than loud enough to cut through the stage volume and my kit."
— DD
"I have to write and say a huge THANK YOU for making your PR 15's such an awesome speaker. As a one-man mobile DJ, I can't tell you how much I appreciate the light-weight design combined with a HEAVY-WEIGHT punch on the performance end!
I purchased a pair of these over a year-and-a-half ago and I could not be happier (and this is being said after 15 weddings and a BUNCH of Middle-School/High-School dances where you REALLY pound the speakers.
My dear Peavey, whatever it is that you're doing, KEEP doing it! This PR line is incredible!"

PV® 1500
"I have been buying Peavey products for over 35 years. I just replaced one of the first products I bought, an original CS 400. It still worked great when I sold it! I had purchased a PV 1500 2 years ago and liked it so much, I had to buy another!
Thanks for some great and dependable products."

Rage® Combo
"I just picked up a slightly used 158 to replace my pawn shop Squire 15W that I managed to fry. Only thing I can say about my Rage is HOLY FRACK WOW! Even though it puts out the same as my Squire, the tone is INCREDIBLE! The overdrive is something to reckon with! Perfect little amp to play punk/pop on. Watch out Green Day! Thank you Peavey!"
— Jeff Harder
"I have one of your Rage practice amps and have used various
amp of the Peavey name in the last 20 years and the one thing
I can definitely say about your products is they're tough and
reliable. I really like the sound I'm getting out of my little
amp and will definitely look into getting a larger Peavey for
jammin' and stuff. Keep up the great work."

Raptor® Plus EXP
"I've always wanted to get a new electric guitar after
tossing my Flying V twenty years ago. I've had an acoustic guitar
since then and found it good to play, until, I found the Peavey
Raptor. I was blown away by the quality of the guitar at the
price I was buying it (used). The guitar vibrates beautifully
when strumming it and its not heavy on the shoulder. When I picked
it up and played, it was almost like I've been playing an electric
for years. Good work Peavey!"
— Bill A
"I've been a peavey user for the last 15 years. Two years
ago I got a purple Raptor. All I can say is, man, what a sturdy
guitar! I went to a Christmas party and I forgot to bring the
axe inside. The temperature was -20 degrees celsius. It stayed
out there and froze for two hours in the trunk of my car. I brought
it in, played it beside the fire and guess what! The neck didn't
move a bit! For a $200 guitar this is the most steady and most
solid axe in the biz! Thanks a bundle Peavey! This is one of
the few out there for the price!"

"My dad gave me this guitar for Christmas and I have loved
it ever since I got it. All I have to say is that it is a great
starter guitar."

SP™ Series Enclosures
"I'm sending this message to tell you about the great quality of your equipment. I own a pair of Peavey SP 2 XT speakers. They were in a mini-storage warehouse during Hurricane Katrina. The mini-storage took on 4' of water from the Biloxi Bay and the speakers were under water for approx 6 hrs. It was three days after the storm before I was able to retrieve them from the storage building. I brought them home and took them apart, took out the wet insulation and cleaned out the cabinet and the electronics and let it dry out for a couple of weeks. I put them back together and they're working fine. Most of the cabinet screws are rusty and will need replacing, and the grills will need repainting but otherwise they're fine for now. That says a lot for the quality of your products. I used these speaker to play music for our Mardi Gras party last weekend. They sounded great. No one at the party could believe they had been under water for so long and were still functioning."

Triple XXX® 212 Combo
"I just wanted to write and tell you folks at Peavey how
impressed I am by my Triple XXX 212 Combo. The fit and finish
of the amp is flawless. It is readily apparent how much attention
to detail was put into this amp, and it is nothing short of spectacular.
It's quite obvious that this amp was built to please the eye
as well as the ear. This workhorse amp is extremely capable of
making itself at home with any style of guitar playing there
is. As for the tone, well, it's absolutely magical. The clean
channel is really smooth and full-bodied, while the crunch channel
ready adds a gritty personality without going overboard, and
as for the ultra channel, it pumps out some mega-gain without
turning to garbage. The spring reverb is totally amazing too,
it is without a doubt one of the best I've heard, never sounding
over-saturated. Everything the Triple XXX does, it does extremely
well, and with the quality workmanship put into it, this amp
is sure to be a favorite for a long time to come. Well done guys
and gals at Peavey, you've really made an impressive piece of
equipment."

XXL™
"I bought a Peavey XXL Head about 3 years ago thinking that it would be a temporary head until I got some money together for a "real" tube head. I've still got this amp and have had the option to upgrade to another amp, but refuse. The XXL is nothing short of AMAZING! This is the best amplifier for under 1000 bucks. And, hands down, the best Solid State on the market. Thanks,Peavey, for staying ahead of the curve!"
— Jeremy Sheppard
"I just got my new XXL head about an hour ago. Ordered
yesterday, here today. This makes a big pile of Peavey gear in
my house now! The XXL is an absolute monster. I have NEVER heard
a transistor amp sound anything like this.
I have been playing professionally for years and owned a
few different tube amps and played through lots of different
ones. I have also played and owned many solid state amps.
Most of my favorite tube amps, and all of my favorite solid
state amps have been Peavey.
This is one exciting amp! I feel like a kid at Christmas.
The squeally pinch harmonics just leap out of this thing.
High gain indeed! My tube amps are ashamed of themselves
right now. I jammed with an XXL a few years back but it was
not mine and I was only sitting in for a few tunes, so I
just plugged and played. I really liked it. Now that I have
my own sitting in front of me with my own cabinets, I can
only say WOW! THANKS PEAVEY!!!!"

All-around good stuff
"I have owned many Peavey products in my 25 plus years of playing music semi-professionally, (3-5 nights per week). I can honestly say my 1980 Peavey XR-600B mixer has been there, in some capacity, whether mains, monitors, sub mix or as a spare. I don't have all my repair records, but I would say maybe its been repaired a half-dozen times, and every time it's fixed it lasts years. That's why I thought I would tell you about it, and thank you people at Peavey for making reliable, good-sounding gear for hard-working musicians that aren't rich and famous.
Let me tell you, at 10PM when the bar lights go down and the stage lights go on, it's important that that our gear works even if we are just little guys."
— Dave Viterna
"Having used Peavey for years, I trust your products and their reliability. I have a Peavey Special 120 guitar amp that I bought in 1981 and it is still going strong—and has NEVER failed me. It has never even needed repair!! That's reliability!"
— Marty Nelson
"I have been using Peavey products since 1976. I currently own a T-Max 210 and a host of other products to numerous to list. During the 29 or so years I have owned and used Peavey, I have had on occasion (although rare) to use the service department in Meridian. I took a 1012 in on 10-3-05 at about 9:00 AM. The tech called me later the same day to tell me that the speaker had been repaired at no cost. This type of service is unbelievable.
I just wanted to take a minute to congratulate Peavey for offering such quality products back by an outstanding service department."
— Darren Glass
"I just wanted to tell you a story about some Peavey equipment we are still using. We were rebuilding a studio facility that had fallen into disrepair—holes in the roof, damaged walls, etc. There was musical equipment left inside, and a Peavey bass amp that had been left outside for a few YEARS. To add to the amazing story, it was left outside in Florida when we were hit by four hurricanes in 2004, so there was an abundance of rain falling on it. Anyway we were standing there trying to figure out what to throw away and what to keep. We looked at the amp, covered in dust and mold, and for laughs we said we should plug it in and see if it blows up. To our amazement we hooked it up to the bass, it crackled a bit and then worked. We were shocked and we still use that amp in our practice facility today. The durability and performance of this is absolutely amazing. Peavey has sold me for life now."
— Bill Owen
"In the past, I have owned many amps from other manufacturer's,
now, I use a Peavey Transformer combo and sometimes also my Peavey
Transfex combo as a stereo pair.
For bigger gigs I use my Peavey Renown combo, patching the Transformer's
'out' into the Renown's 'power amp in' socket. This makes a very
high quality loud amp duo!! I've owned my Renown since it was
new, around 12 or 13 years ago, and it's never even been serviced
or repaired yet—despite having played thousands of
gigs. I can only hope that my Transfex and Transformer perform
as well. Thanks, Peavey folks, for making great-sounding, reliable
gear."
— Richard Brown
"Owning a Peavey amp means no breakdowns, good sound, and
brand loyalty. I own a Basic 60 an ancient MK 3 bass combo (with
the black widow) and a keyboard 15 portable. Some musicians I
know have forsaken Peavey for other manufacturers but, being
an engineer, I appreciate solid well built amps that deliver
night after night. In the unlikely event of any breakdown (never
happened to any of my amps by the way) the backup service is
second to none. Thanks for many years of trouble free gigs!"
— Mick Betts
"Over the years I have owned many Peavey amps. I currently
own a Nitro bass head, a Megabass head, and a Tmax bass head,
along with a 412 TVX, 210TVX, and a 115BVX. After playing for
36 years I have come to the conclusion that there are no better
amps at any price. Why have I kept so many, and am continually
looking for others? It is because those crazy guys at Peavey
are continually changing. And, it seems like the older models
just won't die! By the way, just bought a new Cirrus 5. It is
the first Peavey bass I have owned. It may be the last one I
ever buy. Words can't describe how superior I believe this bass
is. Seems like those Southern guys really know their stuff! Keep
it up, Peavey."
— Ron Singer
"I bought
my TKO while I had my older bass by Squire, the sound was
great, but it really made me jump when I got my Millennium 5
AC BXP. I love the sounds of these two together. I think every
time I practice with my band I have a different tone. I can't
seem to decide how I want my sound! On some days I have a deep,
heart-pounding sound, while on other days I'm in the mood
for a punchy, distinct sound. I forgot to mention that you can
hear these two over any instrument in the band. No more getting
drowned out! The action and playability is amazing on the Millennium,
not just for the price it's set at but in general. I can't
remember the last time I have used my Squire since the time I
got my Millennium. It completely out-plays all other basses,
simple as that. If you have been shopping around for either a
bass combo or guitar, I would recommend these two instruments
to any musician at any level. Great prices, wide variety of tone
that you could use in jazz, rock, blues, metal, junk, you name
it! It is amazing."
