Peavey
Int'l. Headquarters—Peavey and Crest Performance proudly
announce their sponsorship of Performer magazine's Rehearsal
Space Rehab promotion. One winning musician will receive
expert advice, consultation and a new sound system from
Peavey and Crest Performance to optimize their existing
rehearsal space. A special editorial section in Performer will feature the winning artist and document the various stages of the rehearsal space transformation. The entire Rehearsal Space Rehab process will then be featured in Performer's May, June and July 2005 issues and will be printed in more than 95,000 copies each month.
"Forty years ago, Hartley Peavey began building amplifiers, P.A.s and, later, instruments, with the performer in mind," says Tony Moscal, senior manager of marketing at Peavey. "Performer magazine's Rehearsal Space Rehab promotion is a new way for us to continue addressing the needs of working musicians. By combining our rich product catalog and history of innovation with Crest's touring sound tradition, we're able to solve virtually any problem everyday musicians experience."
Performer publisher Bill House adds, "Rehearsal Space Rehab will not only help some lucky band by giving away free gear, advice and editorial coverage in Performer magazine, but it will also help all the hardworking bands out there who are trying to optimize their rehearsal space. We're really hoping that each of our readers will benefit from this partnership."
The contest is open to performers of all styles who rehearse in a commercial or home-based space. To enter, simply log on to Peavey.com and fill out a short online entry form. Bands may enter until March 15, 2005.
Performer Magazine distributes 95,000 copies monthly through out the United States and has been arming and educating recording and performing musicians since 1991. For more information, visit www.performermag.com.
