Peavey Dealerwise Seminar Informs & Instructs Dealers

Peavey Int'l. Headquarters—Peavey Electronics Corporation welcomed 27 of its dealers from around the U.S. to Peavey International Headquarters June 7-10 for the Peavey Dealerwise Seminar.
Senior Peavey Clinician Marty McCann led discussions on Peavey products and the company's industry-leading 130+ technologies, with the engineers who developed them providing extra insight to the dealers. Peavey experts covered the fundamentals of using sound reinforcement mixers, speaker and amplifiers as well as the company's array of musical instruments and audio processors. Advanced lessons ventured into acoustical properties, decibels and sound theory.
"This is by far the most and best information I've gotten, for sure," says seminar guest Heath Gilbert, who has attended seminars for other manufacturers. "We covered topics in audio you wouldn't get unless you went to a Syn-Aud-Con, but they also teach a lot of basics and product-specific info." Gilbert is general manager of Music Village in Ogden, Utah.
In addition, Streetwise Selling instructor Kenny Smith trained the dealers on innovative sales techniques and customer service. Peavey began hosting its popular dealer seminars in 1975 to cultivate a thorough understanding of Peavey products, as well as sales and service, within its sales force.
