NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Peavey proudly announces that it has become the exclusive licensee of the Jack Daniel's brand for musical instruments, amplifiers and accessories. Peavey will unveil its debut Jack Daniel's guitar at the Summer NAMM (International Music Products Association) Expo, held July 23-25 in Nashville, Tenn. The Jack Daniel's line of Peavey musical equipment taps into the unique affinity Jack Daniel's fans have for music. No other spirit brand has greater iconic status in the music industry than the legendary Tennessee Distillery, and this partnership with Peavey will appeal to Jack Daniel's enthusiasts, serious collectors and musicians alike. "Bringing together two powerful brands like Jack Daniel's and Peavey is a tremendous opportunity," says Peavey Electronics Corporation founder and CEO Hartley Peavey. "We're excited to distill Peavey's 39-year legacy of quality and craftsmanship with the rich history and tradition of Jack Daniel's into a line of custom-designed guitars and amplifiers that celebrate our common American heritage." "From the days of Jack Daniel's Silver Cornet Band to arena stages across America, Jack Daniel's has been part of our musical heritage and tradition," says Campbell Brown, National Brand Manager for Jack Daniel's. "We couldn't be more excited about moving into this partnership with Peavey—a partnership that will result in musical instruments that everyone can enjoy, from the serious collector to the amateur musician learning the first licks to ‘Smoke on the Water'." Peavey and Jack Daniel's will kick off its partnership at an invitation-only gala at the Old No. 7 Club in Nashville during the NAMM convention, and will display the co-branded products in the Peavey exhibit (no. 934) at the Gaylord Entertainment Center.
