Peavey Europe Helps Grow Company's Global Business

Peavey hosts top German, Swiss musical instrument & sound gear retailers at headquarters

Peavey Int'l. Headquarters—Peavey Electronics Corporation's top German and Swiss retailers and sales representatives arrived at Peavey International Headquarters for a facility tour—and left with a strengthened commitment to the musical instrument and sound reinforcement company.

The group—accompanied by Clive Roberts, Managing Director of Peavey Europe, and Markus Schmittinger, Director of Business for Peavey Central Europe—toured the company's Mississippi-based manufacturing and corporate facilities during its July 21 and 22 visit.

"I wanted these dealers and sales reps to understand that Peavey is a serious partner that is highly committed and won't go away tomorrow," says Schmittinger. Before the group arrived in Meridian, he explains, their impressions of the company across the Atlantic were less than clear.

"No one in this group knew how professional or determined the Peavey staff is, or what an impressive man Hartley Peavey is," adds Schmittinger. "Now they're talking to each other about how they can intensify their partnership and their business with Peavey."

Schmittinger also says that the company's European dealers are widening the range of Peavey products they offer and applying more marketing power to their Peavey inventory.
