Peavey Debuts Online Cirrus™ Custom Shop

For the first time ever, musicians can now 'build' their custom bass guitars online

Peavey Int'l. Headquarters—Peavey proudly introduces the Cirrus Custom Shop, the musical instrument industry's first online interface for customizing bass guitars. The Cirrus Custom Shop, located at http://www.peaveycustomshop.com, allows musicians to create their own one-of-a-kind Peavey Cirrus bass guitars online.

The Cirrus Custom Shop offers an array of exotic body, top, neck and fingerboard woods, plus several finishes and hardware options. Visitors to the shop can build their Cirrus basses in four-, five- and six-string models. The building process covers nine easy steps.

Cirrus Custom Shop basses offer the full-bodied warmth, quality craftsmanship and quiet active electronics that distinguish the Cirrus Series, and continue the Cirrus tradition of offering unique, tonally balanced wood combinations. The site also includes an option for passive electronics.

Once you've selected your wood, finish, hardware and electronics preferences, you can fill out an online order form and find your nearest Peavey retailer using the Peavey Dealer Locator. The sale will be completed through the retailer you choose, and your Cirrus will be crafted to your exact specifications in the Peavey Custom Shop.

• Bubinga, claro walnut, flame maple, koa, redwood, quilt maple, walnut and wenge top woods (or without top)
• Solid, metallic and transparent colors; hand-rubbed oil finishes
• Birdseye maple, ebony, maple and rosewood fingerboard woods
• Fretted, fretless and fretless with fret lines
• Black dot or mother of pearl inlays (or without inlays)
• Black, chrome, brushed gold and satin gold hardware
• Active (three-band EQ with variable mid-range) or passive (standard three-band EQ) electronics packages
