Not just any guitar, either, and not in just any place: the Biloxi casino's beachfront sign will replicate the new HP Signature™ guitar, named for Peavey's founder and sole owner, Hartley Peavey, and Hard Rock Biloxi is scheduled for completion during 2005, the 40th anniversary of fellow Mississippi-based Peavey Electronics Corporation.
"We are very excited about our relationship we have developed with Peavey and their involvement with our project," says Joe Billhimer, President and COO of Hard Rock Biloxi. "The Mississippi-based company is known throughout the world as one of the best in the music industry for musical instruments and sound equipment, and we are pleased to be associated with such a prestigious company. It's a great opportunity for everyone involved."
Hartley Peavey adds, "Peavey is synonymous with both music and Mississippi, and it's an honor to be involved with Hard Rock in Mississippi. We're proud to celebrate our 40th anniversary with Hard Rock, another world-class, highly respected name in rock 'n' roll."
