PEAVEY INT'L. HEADQUARTERS—Surfing champion and model Daize Shayne is going public with her passion for writing and playing music, and an upcoming Hard Rock Café tour will bring her to venues along the U.S. West Coast.

The two-time world champion longboard surfer—who has earned lead spots in Vans advertisements and numerous surfing films, plus features in W, Teen, YM, Seventeen, GQ, Sports Illustrated and just about every surfing magazine worldwide—will also release her debut album in 2005, and song clips are currently available for download at http://www.daizeshayne.com.

An avid Peavey endorser, Daize will be playing her Rotor® guitar through a Triple XXX® guitar amp on the tour, which begins May 19 in San Francisco and wraps May 29 in San Diego. She also strums a Peavey Briarwood™ acoustic guitar during downtime.
