Curtis Paull
In 2004, Curtis Paull joined Canadian rockers PUSHING DAISIES. PUSHING DAISIES achieved much success with Pretending To Be Famous and the break-out single "Disagree", which earned impressive radio play on commercial stations across Canada, and put a video in regular rotation on MuchMusic. A showcase at Canadian Music Week where they were named winners of the Rising Star Award and a busy touring schedule the following summer found them on the road and playing to sold out arenas as opening act on The Guess Who's "Running Back Thru Canada Tour." Their highly anticipated sophomore disc, How It Makes You Feel, was released in late 2005 to a sold out crowd in their hometown of Winnipeg. The album's first two singles, "Punches" and "The Weekend", are currently getting airplay on radio stations in Winnipeg and Canada, and are available for download online at www.pushingdaisies.com. 2006 marks a milestone for the band and Canada as "C'Mon, C'Mon", written and recorded by PUSHING DAISIES was introduced as the first ever "official" song of the 2006 (94th)Grey Cup, the single largest sporting event in Canada. 2007 will see PUSHING DAISIES with their first major label recording in stores throughout North America, as well as some extensive touring in support of their new CD.
